And although Rahm has finished among the top 10 in every LIV event he\u2019s played, Bryson DeChambeau has bulled past him into the No. 2 slot with his powerhouse performance at the U.S. Open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only has DeChambeau moved to the top of the LIV Power Rankings, his fantastic play at the 2024 major championships (U.S. Open win, runner-up at the PGA Championship and Masters T6), has also moved Bryson onto the list of the <a href=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/all-time-top-100-player-rankings\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">All-Time Top 100 Players<\/mark><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bryson (No. 90) joins a long list of LIV players already residing among the Top 100, starting with Phil at No. 9 and DJ at No. 29, Sergio (32), Lee Westwood (34), Rham (52), Koepka (57), Paul Casey and Hendrick Stenson (T64), Louis Oosthuizen (85), Charl Schwartzel (90), Bubba Watson (T99) and Cameron Smith (T99)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should DeChambeau keep it rolling and win The Open Championship, he would vault all the way into the All-Time Top 75.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if Jon Rahm were to kick it up a notch and win The Open, he would move into the All-Time Top 50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"759\" src=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/LIV_Joaquin_Niemann-1-1024x759.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5463\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.3491436100131753;width:314px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/LIV_Joaquin_Niemann-1-1024x759.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/LIV_Joaquin_Niemann-1-300x222.jpg 300w, https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/LIV_Joaquin_Niemann-1-768x569.jpg 768w, https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/LIV_Joaquin_Niemann-1-1536x1139.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/LIV_Joaquin_Niemann-1-270x200.jpg 270w, https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/LIV_Joaquin_Niemann-1.jpg 1566w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Joaquin Niemann: Hanging in at #1<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Young Joaquin Niemann will need to marshal all of his talent to keep the big guys at bay\u2014and keep in mind that Brooks Koepka is also due for a big performance at a major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One thing is for sure, the race is heating up and the next few weeks will be about as exciting as it can get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LIV Power Ranking Update<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Players are rated and ranked on the basis of events played, average finish, wins, runner up, Top-5 and Top-10 finishes&#8211;as well as performance at the major championships. There is one LIV event coming up before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theopen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">The Open Championship<\/mark><\/a>\u2014Andalucia at The Real Club Valderrama (July 12-14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top 5<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No. 1 Joaquin Niemann: 83.0 Rating<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Niemann has won two LIV events in 2024 (Mayakoba and Jeddah), and also recorded 5-Top 10\u2019s with an <em>average<\/em> finish of 10.0, second only to Jon Rahm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coming off a solid T3 at <a href=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/golf-courses2\/9413-The-Grove-Golf-Course.html\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">The Grove<\/mark><\/a> in Nashville, Joaquin will need to keep it going at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livgolf.com\/events\/andalucia-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Valderrama<\/mark><\/a> and have a good showing at Royal Troon if he hopes to hold off Rahm and a hard charging DeChambeau.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No. 2 Bryson DeChambeau: 81<\/strong><strong>.1 Rating<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bryson moved steadily up the board last year after a strong showing at the 23\u2019 PGA Championship (T4), finishing at No. 10 on the LIV Power rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024 DeChambeau has ramped it up further, mashing the pedal to the floor with a win at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usopen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">U.S. Open<\/mark><\/a>, runner up at the PGA and a T6 at The Masters\u2014not to mention 5 LIV top 10\u2019s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019ll be a wild ride watching Bryson bomb it off the tee at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.royaltroon.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Royal Troon<\/mark><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No. 3 Jon Rahm: 78.5 Rating&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"764\" height=\"826\" src=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/LIV_Jon_Rahm-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5593\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.9249394673123487;width:241px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/LIV_Jon_Rahm-1.jpg 764w, https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/LIV_Jon_Rahm-1-277x300.jpg 277w, https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/LIV_Jon_Rahm-1-250x270.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 764px) 100vw, 764px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Jon Rahm: 8 top-10\u2019s<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Rahm has still not notched an LIV win, but he\u2019s recorded a top 10 in all eight events he\u2019s played. His amazing 5.5 average finish leads the league by a wide margin, but that first win has somehow eluded him\u2014perhaps some home court vibes at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valderrama.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Valderrama<\/mark><\/a> will push him over the top (and get him revved up for The Open as well).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No. 4 Tyrell Hatton: 73.1 Rating<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"407\" height=\"387\" src=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/LIV_Tyrell_Hatton.avif_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6171\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.0516795865633075;width:267px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/LIV_Tyrell_Hatton.avif_.jpg 407w, https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/LIV_Tyrell_Hatton.avif_-300x285.jpg 300w, https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/LIV_Tyrell_Hatton.avif_-270x257.jpg 270w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 407px) 100vw, 407px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Hatton wins in Nashville<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Hatton recorded his first LIV win at&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livgolf.com\/events\/nashville-2024?season=2024\" target=\"_blank\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Nashville<\/mark><\/a>&nbsp;last week, dominating the field at 19 under and a six-shot margin over runner-up Sam Horsfield. Tyrell has also posted 3-Top-10\u2019s in the \u201924 campaign and added a strong showing at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masters.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">The Masters<\/mark><\/a> (T9). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At 32 years old, Hatton is in the prime of his career\u2014and he\u2019s been knocking on the door at The Open for a while now (2016&#8211;T5, 2019&#8211;T6, 2022&#8211;T11 and a T20 in 2023). Tyrell was born and still resides in Buckinghamshire, England, so The Open Championship is a prize he would dearly love to take. And although he hasn\u2019t recorded a major Top 10 in 2024, he\u2019s not been very far off (a poor third round knocked him out at the PGA and a tough second round cost him at the U.S. Open).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Koepka\u2019s trademark at major\u2019s has been his consistency and resilience\u2014so three consecutive mediocre major championship finishes is a surprise. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his last 7 starts at The Open, Brooks recorded 4 Top 10 finishes (2015&#8211;T10, 2017&#8211;T6, 2019&#8211;T4, and a T6 in 2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looks like Brooks is due.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cameron Smith (<\/strong><strong>No. 7\/62.6 Rating)<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cam recorded his second runner-up of the year in Singapore after a T6 at The Masters, and had a strong finish in Nashville last week (T9). When Smith has a putter in his hands, anything can happen\u2014and if the short stick heats up as it did in 2022, there\u2019s a good chance he\u2019ll be raising the Claret Jug again in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Carlos Ortiz (No. 9\/58.8 Rating)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"993\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/LIV_Carlos_Ortiz-993x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6173\" 3 weeks ago at the<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"> <\/mark><a href=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/golf-courses2\/3776-Golf-Club-of-Houston-Golf-Course.html\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Golf Club of Houston<\/mark><\/a>\u00a0and continued his strong pay with a T9 in Nashville. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phil (No. 43\/30.1 Rating&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"703\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/LIV_Phil.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6174\" Muirfield to come from 5 back and win the 2013 Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mickelson has done nothing in the LIV events this year other than a T6 at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livgolf.com\/events\/jeddah-2024?season=2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Jeddah<\/mark><\/a> back in March, and he missed the cut at both the PGA and the U.S. Open.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His last two starts at Houston (T37) and Nashville (T40) were disappointing to say the least, but as George Patton would say that is exactly why you should expect Phil to mount a major offensive at Troon a couple of weeks from now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, Phil may finally have run out of hat rabbits\u2014but it\u2019s always fun to watch him tee it up again a major championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"914\" height=\"642\" src=\"https:\/\/golfday.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Valderrama.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6175\"
